class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Francesco Parisi, born in Trieste in 1961, departed in 1981 for the Italian Navy Basic Training Centre (CAR) in La Spezia, after obtaining his secondary school diploma. In October of the same year, he was assigned to Taranto for training as a gunner (gun layer).<br>Serving aboard the guided missile destroyer Audace, he sailed more than 22,000 nautical miles, calling at ports including Toulon, Tangier, and Mogadishu, among others. Employed as a technical instructor in upper secondary schools in Trieste, at the time of the interview he was approaching retirement.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
