Fabio Tamburin, born in Trieste in 1974, performed his military service in the Alpini.
Called up in 1993, he received his initial training at the Basic Training Centre (CAR) in Borgo San Dalmazzo (Province of Cuneo) and was subsequently assigned to the Headquarters and Services Company of the 15th Alpini Regiment in Chiusaforte (Province of Udine). There he served as a storekeeper, holding the rank of Corporal.
Upon completion of his compulsory military service, he returned to civilian life, working in Trieste first as a warehouse clerk and later as a steelworker, a position he continues to hold to this day.
